About the Writers

Maria and Michael Smith

Maria and Michael Smith moved to Boise from Dallas in late 2009. The Smiths are travel writers but otherwise semi-retired, which means lots of biking, volunteering, working out, hiking, reading, dining out, theater-going, traveling and hosting out-of-town friends who are curious about Boise. In their working lives, Maria was (and still is) a copy editor and proofreader, and Mike was a process facilitator.
